In 1995, the Air Jordan 11 Retro 'Space Jam' marked their initial on-court appearance during the Bulls' playoff series against Magic Johnson. However, it wasn't until their iconic role in the 1996 Space Jam movie, where Jordan donned them for the final showdown against the Monstars, that the 'Space Jams' achieved legendary status. Though the colorway wasn't officially launched until 2000, it swiftly sold out upon release. Thanks to its immense popularity, the 'Space Jams' enjoyed subsequent reissues in 2009 and 2016.
